Contact football is open to boys and girls in the 2nd through 8th grade. Teams practice 3 times per week beginning in early August and play games on Saturday’s starting in September at the Pleasanton Sports Park. The PJFL season consists of 8 regular season games followed by a year-end tournament.
All players are provided with the necessary safety equipment needed to play including their helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, pants and knee/hip/thigh pads. All players are required to attend “Evaluation Week” where they are put through an array of football drills designed to showcase their talents and abilities and to determine the proper division in which they will play.
